Professional Engineer Q&A: Part 3

Part 3- FAQs on Professional Interview Application

Q5: What is the maximum length allowed for the report?

There is no limit to the amount of words you should write. However, you need only to give a detailed write up on one topic and write briefly on the rest. We do not expect you to write on all your experience in details. You are to select one question and how you applied the engineering approach. You can choose your best project or your most interesting project.

Q6: Must all the drawings be certified? Should I certify other supportive documents too? Should the supportive documents be presented at the P.I.?

Yes, but we are more particular on your contribution to one major set of drawings. You can submit the other works for information. If too many sheets are to be presented, you should bind them up.

Yes, it is necessary for you to submit whatever supportive sheets available. All these documents can be bound, certified and presented. This will help the interviewers to appreciate your work.

Yes, if you think that your supportive documents are important.
